Adriana Lima is a Brazilian model and actress best known for
her work as a Victoria's Secret Angel. She gained international
fame after placing second in the Ford Supermodel of the World
contest.
This achievement catapulted her into high-profile fashion work,
but it was her association with Victoria's Secret that made her a
household name. Lima joined the brand in 1999 and was a Victoria's
Secret Angel from 2000 to 2018, making her one of the
longest-serving Angels.
Beyond the runway, Lima has made appearances in the TV series How
I Met Your Mother and Ugly Betty. She also served as a red carpet
correspondent for the Super Bowl XLI on CBS, as well as working as
a brand ambassador for companies such as Desigual, Calzedonia,
Sportmax, IWC, Maybelline, Puma, and Chopard.
